Mass and Balance

Today we have just finished Mass and Balance, it was only two days, but there was quite a lot of things to take into account. However, in the Mass and Balance exam we are given a CAP, which contains many of the facts we need to know, but not remember!

This picture here kinda explains it all really, the whole reason for calculating the mass and balance of the aircraft is to prevent these kind of things from happening. Working out where the centre of gravity is, changes with Fuel, passengers, cargo, crew, cabin crew etc. Many things to take into account but at the end of the day, an aircraft performance solely rely's on the balance being correct.

Anyway, just two more days of GNav, then I am off for Christmas until the 2nd, where it all continues once again.
