Today, we had the chance to go in the simulator. It was a really good experience, and has made me remember why I am becoming an Airline Pilot. We all were allowed to do a circuit each from London Gatwick (EGKK) and then do a Loop, fly parallel with the runway then land again on the runway we took off from. It has just made us want to get these first 5 Months of Theory and Exams out of the way, so we can fly for real.
It is amazing how realistic the simulator is, it has audible and visual warnings, you can speak to ATC and also you can plan routes. Most amazing of all, the amazing and scenery around the airports is identical to it is in real life. I am utterly impressed, and had a great time!
